The Jubilate and Te Deum are morning canticles sung during Matins in the Anglican tradition. From the time of the English Reformation, highly trained choirs were a prominent feature of worship in both cathedral and collegiate settings. These two settings were written for the choir of St. Thomas Parish, Dupont Circle in Washington in 2009. Set for either organ, or string quintet, the tonal style is reminiscent of British composers of the Twentieth Century. Both works are published by Paraclete Press.
